Mary Leonard is a BHSAI and HSI Qualified Instructor, who comes from a long established horse family, riding from the age of 4. Mary herself has competed to a high level in all disciplines. Mary breaks and trains her own horses alongside her f

amily, who have produced such animals as Ringwood Cockatoo ( Gold Medallist, World Equestrian Games 2006) and Ringwood Magistrate and Master Crusoe (Olympics 2012). Mary Leonard's riding school offers Horse and Pony Riding lessons for both adults and children from the age of 8 years and upwards. There is a maximum of 6 students in each group to ensure personal attention. Our facilities include an indoor arena and 2 outdoor all-weather arenas, a full course of show jumping fences and a x-country course. Hats and back-protectors are provided for all of our clients. No prior experience required, we will teach you the basics of horsemanship;all of our riders learn to control their pony so they can participate in the classes and pony games in a safe and fun way. We offer tuition on:

- Flat work
-Dressage
-Show jumping
-X-Country
-Hacking out (trail paths)
-Mounted Games
-Stable Management

Every year we run Mid-Term Break, Easter and Summer Camps, and at Christmas our students have an opportunity to participate in a local Junior- Hunt.
