With over 90 Sessions of EquineActivities on a Saturday, our team require volunteers.
Complete our application process and your lead rein training and enjoy Saturdays (half day or full day) walking a horse.
All training provided, no experience with horses necessary.
Download an application form and email to [email protected] (Over 18's only due to insurance)
If any parents who would like out to help out with the leading on our open Saturdays, Helen will hold a Leading course on the following dates.

Liskennett is Open on Saturdays!
We’re delighted to welcome anyone with a diagnosis of autism and/or intellectual disability to Liskennett on Saturdays — no need to be linked to St. Joseph’s Foundation to attend.
🗓️ Open Saturdays are relaxed and inclusive — perfect for individuals and families looking to enjoy Liskenentt and sensory spaces. No booking required.

Liskennett Equine Assisted Activity Centre based in Granagh, Co. Limerick are looking for a Equine Supervisor to join their team.
-Ideal candidate will have at least 1 yr supervisory experience
-Equine Qualification or equivalent
-Experience working with Adults/ Children with intellectual disabilities
-Hold a B.BE, & W or C1 licence

Liskennett Farm is a development by St. Joseph’s Foundation for children and adults with Autism. It was officially opened in September 2015. It incorporates therapeutic day and residential services for adults and a “Horse Boy” Equine Therapy Centre for both children and adults.
The day service provides a service to 24 service users. The residential service is home to 14 residents, this will be increased to 16 subject to HIQA approval of two new apartments.
The “Horse Boy” Equine Therapy Centre operates as a New Direction Hub to, adult service users and also provides Equine Therapy for children and their families.
Liskennett is only available to you and your family if your child has a disability and/or Autism. Liskennett is not open to the General public
