Winner today at Necarne P2P for Affinisea 🥇🐎

The Derek O'Connor-trained and ridden newcomer Hollywood Nights was happy to bide his time towards the rear of the eight-runner field until making a forward move approaching three out, jumping superbly throughout, he swept through on he home bend to challenge favourite Weafers Cross after the last and got the upperhand close home, ultimately scoring by a length at the line. Future plans for the son of Affinisea, who was donning the colours of O'Connor's wife Carol, are undecided. O'Connor praised the effort made by the hunt to provide the safe underfoot conditions.
