Our Services:

* Full home service : Home euthanasia with our Veterinary partners who support you and your pet at this difficult time with such care. Your pet is then gently transferred to a willow casket and made comfortable with blanket and flowers. You will have time privately to say your final farewell. Individual cremations only and ashes are hand delivered home after five working days in an urn of your choice.

* Door-to-door service : if you're pet has passed at home or in your vet clinic we can provide a door-to-door collection and provide the same service as above with willow casket, Individual cremation and hand delivered home.

* Farewell room : If preferred, you can bring your pet to our premises where you will have use of our Farewell room. Your pet will be transferred to a willow casket and you have time in privacy to say goodbye in a comfortable and soft setting. Ashes are ready for collection after five working days in an urn of your choice.

All MyCompanion team are qualified pet bereavement counsellors and are here to support you through this difficult time. Every detail and care is given and as pet owners we have experienced the loss and understand the grief that loss brings.

Its not something we want to think about, losing our beloved pets BUT it is important to know where to turn for support and a dignified and respectful farewell.

This Cat Day, we want to introduce you to Taz & Duma - the Bengal cats who inspired part of our journey. 💛

Saying goodbye to them showed us just how deep the bond between a pet and their person really is. It’s why we created My Companion, to ensure every goodbye is handled with compassion, dignity, and love.

Crisp leaves and cooler days = autumn adventures 🍁

But while the season is beautiful, it can bring a few hidden dangers for our pets.

From wild mushrooms on the trail to tempting Halloween treats at home, a little extra care goes a long way in keeping tails wagging this autumn.

We are delighted to announce that we are finalists in the Kildare Business Awards 2025 in the category of Excellence in Customer Service.

We started MyCompanion after experiencing the loss of our own beloved pets, and wanting to help other dedicated pet owners to be able to say goodbye to their beloved companion and family member in the most dignified way.
We give every respect to each pet who has past and do all that we can to support those left behind.
We endeavour to make the experience of saying goodbye a fond memory and although heartbreaking, that there is a happiness in knowing that their pets were honoured in their passing.

We try to go above and beyond and are constantly looking to grow and improve what we can offer in means of support at such a difficult time.

Some od what we offer: each team member are qualified Pet Bereavement counsellors, we have 24hr availability for support, we have home collection service, vet clinic collection or use of our Farewell room at our premises in Straffan.
