Permanent part time position available.
I am looking for someone to work Saturdays and Sundays and a few days during the week.
Weekdays and Saturdays would be between 8.30am - 1.30 (maybe less) and between 4pm - 5pm (when required).
Sundays 8.30 until finished.
I have 31 kennels and can have up to 40’dogs during the busy times, so please expect noise, poo and smells, especially first thing in the morning! I also have a cattery.
Duties include:
Feeding and cleaning dogs/cats
Cleaning kennels
Administering medication when needed
Brushing
Disinfecting
Washing bowls
Washing/drying bedding
Lifting and carrying
Hosing
Using a till and card machine
Dealing with the public
You would need to be reasonably fit
Work fast and efficiently
Able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised
Have an understanding of dogs/cats
Good level of spoken English
Own car
Available for bank holiday and Christmas
Cover for any emergency
Hours 8.30 am - 1.30 and 4pm - 5pm
Minimum wage applies
