August puts three incredible species in the spotlight. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ˜ World Lion Day, World Elephant Day and World Oryx Day are opportunities to celebrate wildlife, raise awareness of the threats these species face and highlight the work helping to protect them. You visit to Dublin Zoo plays a part. ๐Ÿ’š

Every visit helps support Dublin Zoo and our conservation work, while learning about threatened species - and sharing their stories โ€“ helps raise awareness of the challenges facing wildlife. As a conservation charity, we support conservation efforts in Ireland and around the world, from European conservation breeding programmes to projects protecting species, habitats and vital wildlife corridors.
