🚨 Stop scrolling if you brush your dog like this… 🚨

Just brushing the top layer isn’t enough. Hidden knots and tangles underneath can pull on your dog’s skin, cause pain, and even lead to matting 😳🐶

Here’s how to brush properly 👇

✨ 1. Start with a slicker brush
Use gentle strokes to loosen knots and remove tangles underneath the coat.

✨ 2. ALWAYS follow with a comb
The comb checks your work. If it can’t glide through smoothly, there are still tangles hiding.

✨ 3. Never force the comb through knots
Use the slicker brush first to gently break them up. Pulling with a comb can hurt your dog.

✨ 4. Don’t over-brush one spot
Too much brushing in the same area can irritate the skin and cause brush burn.

✨ 5. Work in small sections
Line brushing helps you reach the undercoat instead of just fluffing the top layer.

A quick brush on top might look nice… but a proper brush keeps your dog comfortable and healthy ❤️🐾
