🐶 WE ARE FULL OF PUPPIES! 🐶
Our kennels are 100% FULL, and we have so many puppies waiting for loving homes.

Every day these pups sit in kennels, but they should be growing up on couches, learning what love feels like, and becoming part of a family. 💛

✨ Why adopt a puppy from GAIN?
✔️ Already spayed or neutered
✔️ Up to date on vaccines
✔️ Dewormed & flea/tick free

🐾 Introducing the SNIP & TIP Program 🐾
A new community spay & neuter effort to tackle Guam’s overpopulation crisis

Results from the 2025 Dog Population Survey showed a hard truth:
Many residents lovingly feed dogs and cats around their homes but don’t consider them “theirs.” These community animals are often cared for by multiple households, go unsterilized, and are the largest contributors to unwanted litters on island.

To reach these animals, our SNIP clinic is launching the SNIP & TIP Program 💪🐶🐱

❓How it works:
Residents can schedule and bring in community dogs and cats for a full service package at no cost to them (donations encouraged).

🤔What’s included:
✔️ Spay or Neuter surgery
✔️ Ear tip or notch (to clearly mark they’ve been sterilized)
✔️ Microchip
✔️ DAPP (dogs) or HCP (cats) vaccine
✔️ Rabies vaccine (if 12 weeks or older)

💙 No donation is required, but donations help us continue this program longer without depleting limited funding.
Suggested donation: $50–$100 (any amount is appreciated).

🚨 IMPORTANT:
We currently have LOTS of open appointments at our upcoming Sinajana clinic between January 13-20th, this is the perfect time to sign up the community dogs and cats you’re already feeding.

👉 Sign them up NOW. Help stop the cycle. Help your community. Help Guam.

🎆 Fireworks & Pets: Please Keep Them Safe 🐾

Fireworks can be terrifying for dogs and cats. Loud noises, flashes, and vibrations often cause pets to panic, bolt, or injure themselves. Please take extra precautions tonight and into the New Year.

Tips to help your pets stay calm:
• Keep pets indoors and secure before fireworks start
• Close windows and doors; draw curtains or blinds
• Play calming music, TV, or white noise to drown out sounds
• Create a cozy “safe space” with blankets, beds, or crates
• Stay calm yourself—your pet takes cues from you
• Make sure collars and microchips are up to date
• Do not take pets to fireworks displays

🚨 Lost pets increase dramatically after fireworks — keeping them inside saves lives.

📅 Shelter Hours Reminder
We are CLOSED on New Year’s Day
We will reopen Friday

☎️ Emergency Euthanasia Line
Our emergency euthanasia line remains available if urgently needed. Please call if you require assistance (671) 653-4246
