It is incredibly hard to put into words the enormity of losing this little person…. 💔
(Post with permission of Lisa who owned him for years and years and years)
Today the sun shone, today Dilly had an amazing day with the sun on his back, the grass under his tiny feet and he had the most carefree day in the typical life of Dillon, just how he liked it, just how he did things his way and also surrounded by people that loved him very much until the time came for Dilly to gain his wings and fly the rainbow 🌈
I have been honoured to have this little man in my life here for over 10yrs now. I can genuinely say he was the dearest of souls but he was a little monkey too but never failed to entertain everyone with his cheekiness, his character, his thieving, his defiance, his ability to make you fall in love with him with this heart of gold and kindness and I know his absence will be felt for a very long time here and by those who knew him, he was without a doubt, an absolute legend and his unique spirit and personality touched so many hearts 😢
Lisa, I am so very incredibly proud of you today. You put aside your own shattering heartbreak to allow Dilly to make the journey to eternal life with his girls, Barney and your mum and I know Dilly was proud of you too. He left this world with a heart filled to the brim with love and happiness and he was grateful for the amazing life you let him lead, always letting him being true to himself ❤️
We will all miss you so very much Dilly. We thank you for letting us be part of your life and your memory will always remain imprinted in our hearts 💔💔 RIP Dillon you precious soul, the heavens have gained a beautiful angel 😢😢
Big thank you to Kirsty from Rainbow Equine Hospital, your empathy and compassion was amazing 🫶🏽
