QUESTION 🙋🏻‍♀️

Yesterday I had 15 horses vaccinated with their annual boosters for flu/flu tetanus.
Today I have 10 of the 15 horses with high temperatures (above 38.5 degrees) and generally feeling pretty rubbish.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen flu vaccine reactions, had them before over the years with a temp and sore around the vaccination site/stiff neck but 10 out 15 horses, that’s madness!
Has anyone else experienced anything like this before but more so with larger number of horses?
Spoken with my vets and the vaccine company will be contacted but just seems really odd 🤔

Below is the original advert I had for my precious Tums. She was sold to amazing lady but sadly circumstances change and Tums has been back with me a while now but sadly my position still remains the same due to my own circumstances 😔 so here she is again….

I have written this, deleted it, closed the page, written it, deleted it and so on….
This is extremely difficult, but the time has come to find a forever and happy ever after for my beautiful girl Autumn AKA Tums, 14.3hh/15hh rising 15yr old registered PBA bay roan mare.
Tums has been the most amazing girl. She is the sweetest most genuine mare with a heart of gold and so easy to have around. She has bred me 2 beautiful foals and is the most amazing mother and her temperament is very much passed on to her babies.
Tums is a super mover and works well on the flat. She has also successfully competed dressage with us aswell as a lot of hacking and has done and been used in riding lessons. Tums does pole work but isn’t always a massive fan of jumping! She doesn’t need to be ridden every day and she is no different after a few days or weeks off!
This is very difficult for me and homes will be vetted! She is extremely special and deserves that special someone 💖

Meet our gorgeous boy Jack, 15.1hh 14yr old schoolmaster Irish gelding. Jack has successfully competed eventing, SJ (has SJI points) He is incredibly sweet and a gent to handle. Super light mouth and schools well. Very attractive horse and very kind and genuine.

15.2hh rising 4yr old Irish sports horse gelding by Baltydaniel Golden Boy (aka Reilly!)
Reilly came over from Ireland in October 2025 as a lightly handled 3yr old.
Reilly has taken to everything like a duck to water. He has a good brain and attitude and kind temperament.
He has been lightly broken, well established with ground work lunging, long reining and has been sat on and very lightly ridden on a few occasions but due to his owners personal circumstances, he is now turned away so is ready for either an extended holiday or ready for someone to take to the next level and put your own stamp on.
He is such a lovely horse and deserves a lovely family and future ❤️

Meet Tinks! Approximately 14.2hh 11yr old skewbald mare. One word describes this fabulous girl and that’s - Amazing!
Tinks is an extremely versatile mare. She has competed BD successfully, incurring BD points, including BD Youth inter regionals, inter counties and won Quest Semi Final novice.
She has an excellent scopey jump and done both xc and sj as well as showing and would be a fabulous contender for the RI and HOYS coloured classes.
Her temperament is second to none, incredibly sweet natured and a pleasure to have around. She hacks alone and in company and has a bold and confident attitude to life.
Ponies like Tinks are hard found and she is a real asset to any family wanting the full package. She isn’t for a complete novice though as she’s forward going (in a nice way!) and responsive and incredibly well schooled.

Meet Zippy! 12.2hh 8yr old bay gelding.
Zippy is a really cool boy. He has been privately owned as a first pony and where he was on working livery in a riding school. Zippy is a good boy, he’s genuine to ride, jumps and good to hack. Not strong or silly.
Zippy’s only negative is that he can be grumpy in the stable but absolutely fine with a head collar on, tied up inside or outside the stable. Will live in or out. Please don’t be put off by this little negative, he’s actually a really sweet boy, aswell as beautiful, genuine and a all round pony 🫶🏽

Another cracker to be coming up is our very own Penny, 15hh 5yr old registered Connemara mare. She is broken and riding but had some time off over the winter so she’s restarting her education again here with us. She is such an awesome character and has the making of a seriously fab prospect for the future. She’s a lovely sensible attitude to life and someone will be very lucky. 15.2hh 8yr old part bred Welsh gelding.
Has done lots of hacking alone and in company, responsive to the the leg, pops a jump and has done a few fun rides.
Good to shoe, box, and clip.
