Today we share more sad news. This week, we said goodbye to another of our "early days" dogs, the gorgeous Macy. 😢

Macy, a Newfipoo, first joined the crèche in 2015. At the time, we thought she was huge—the largest dog we had ever seen—though we didn’t yet know that Great Danes would eventually come to tower over her. She was a sweet-natured girl who made many friends and became a devoted member of the Waggy gang.🥰

In our early years, Macy was a regular visitor. Because of where she lived, she spent many long days with Vanessa and her dog, Tilly, and the two became very good friends.

Macy was also part of our early adventures, including the time we were stranded when the van got stuck in the mud. While a team of volunteers worked to push the van, another group was busy fussing over and admiring Macy, turning the entire situation into a comedy farse. 🥰

At almost 14 years old, Macy enjoyed a long, happy, and loving life, which eventually included the introduction of her sister Mavis, also a Newfipoo. 💕

We are so grateful to have shared in her care, and we send our deepest love to Helen and Colin at this incredibly sad time. She will be greatly missed. 💔
