Long time no posts! We’ve been busy covering holidays. This morning Bandit and Ranger the ferret brothers had their annual veterinary checkup. They were neutered after they hit maturity (stinky intact male ferrets are one reason they have a reputation for odour- neutering significantly reduces their musk scent and is healthier for them in the long term if they’re not to be bred). Ferrets are susceptible to distemper, which is fatal, so as they go on harness walks they get a booster each year. Ferrets are specialist pets so they need a vet that knows their way around unusual mammals- these two go to

Many think of these rough and ready creatures as vicious little hooligans of the countryside... Which is only partly true...
These two are urban dwellers and are about as tame as an animal can get. Though their hooligan instincts are still somewhat evident...

Hi there! My name is Ollie- I am the beautiful, elegant siamese boy facing down the horrible tuxedo usurper- allegedly my ‘sister’. Sometimes mum travels for work and going to the cattery stresses me out, so I stay home and comes to look after me. And the little brat. Allegedly I’m highly strung, so I need TWO visits a day and for to check to be sure I haven’t done a wee on the doormat. Though Mum probably deserves it.

Luckily is qualified to look after us- as well as reptiles, birds, cats, dogs, fish, small animals, and even insects and arachnids! P.s. We are very naughty ferrets.
