❓ How does the scoring work?
🏆 Judges add up penalty points for any combination who have not gone clear. Those who end on 0 are judged against the time it took them to do the timed section which includes the gate and 1 or 2 fences.
Penalty points are awarded for the following
2️⃣0️⃣ Failure to shut gate properly
2️⃣0️⃣ 1st refusal run out or circle
4️⃣0️⃣ 2nd refusal run out or circle
❌ Elimination 3rd refusal run out or circle
❌ Elimination fall of horse and rider
❌ Error of course.
Scores will be in the secretary tent once calculated- this takes time as they have to be collected on course.
❓ How does the gate work?
🌟40,60cm travel through the open gate. (Timer starts here)
🌟70,8,90cm stop (timer starts here) unrope and open the gate (mounted or unmounted) if unmounted make sure you are through the flags, don’t dismount too early. Go through the gate, turn around close and re rope.
Failure to do the gate back up properly in the 70,80,90 will result in 20 penalty points
