Just like us humans, cats can overheat in the warmer months, so follow these top tips to keep your cat cool and safe in the summer.

🌳Provide plenty of shaded areas
🌬Keep your home well ventilated
💧Keep your cat's water topped up
🪮Groom your cat regularly to remove excess fur
🧶Avoid playing during the hotter hours
❄️Provide a cooling mat for your cat to lie on
👀Watch for signs of overheating

‼️Remember: if your cat shows signs of overheating like excessive panting or lethargy, contact your vet right away🧑🏼‍⚕️
