Loneliness Awareness Week is the world's largest campaign to inspire conversations about loneliness and promote connection activities happening across the world. ❤️‍🩹

Our cats have a significant role in providing companionship. Here are some ways how cats can help to reduce feelings of loneliness:

Today, we remember all our precious furry friends and the pawprints they leave on our hearts forever💖

Suffering the loss of a beloved cat and dealing with grief can be extremely difficult😢

✨️We would like to open up the comments as a memorial space for dedicating tributes to beloved furry friends who are no longer with us. Please feel free to post a photo and write some words in remembrance. We want to help keep their memory alive💭

This Volunteers Week, we want to celebrate the many aspects of the charity that volunteers are involved in. Maarja is one of our fantastic social media volunteers, who supports Cats Protection - Worthing & District with their social media platforms ...

"Being a social media volunteer has been a valuable experience because of the community that we as a team interact with, to raise awareness about adopting cats and promote their wellbeing and quality of life.

It has been interesting to learn about a variety of cat related topics myself and educate others through lighthearted social media posts. People's interactions with our posts where they share their experiences (and of course photos of cats!) are a big motivator for me to continue creating posts that are engaging."

🌻Last week was Sun Awareness Week 🌞

With the sunny summer season approaching, remember our feline friends need protection from heat too.

Here are some things to think about to protect our beloved kitties:

🌞 ensure hydration by leaving fresh water available at all times,
🌞 provide plenty of shady spaces,
🌞 check enclosed conservatories or greenhouses before closing them,
🌞 watch out for signs of heat stress, like panting, drooling or lethargy,
🌞 groom long-haired cats regularly to help with heat regulation.
