The let them decide theory .. I have always believed in just sitting with our cats and letting them decide how and when they want their interaction (fusses), in my experience it builds trust and then a bond. Studies have found that this increases the affection and can in turn increase our awareness of cat’s body language … well worth a read. 🐈‍⬛
