I’m loving the pattern on this Kawakami Goshiki the beni is bright with no overlapping grey. With cooler months ahead I welcome the darkness the cold hard Suffolk water will surely bring to this fish.

Lots of finglings still for sale I’d guess between 150-300. Approximately 2-4 inches long. I can’t take these all through winter so if anyone would like a deal pm me.

Cooler nights now not that the koi seem to mind.
This pond has the advantage of being heated so I can get a little more weight on the stock before it cools down too much.
Chunk them 🆙.

Here we go again!
Turning one of the old fry rearing ponds into a deeper grow on with updated filtration and a new poly tunnel for next season’s Japanese imports.
First got to get rid of all this clay.once this one is sorted I can move on to no.2.

I had a free hour after customers had chosen there selections of Japanese koi this afternoon so I bowled up a few of this years fry and size sorted them. This is a very important process to allow all the koi to grow at their own rates as you can see some grow much faster!

Black diamond chosen by a customer this morning. These have been an interesting variety to grow on due to various pattern/shade changes. Personally I think as these mature and grow out they will stand out among their counterparts.

Marusaka Midorigoi who left for his new home earlier today. Best known as the rare green koi.
