So yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting this lovely boy and his owners. He is a young rescue who struggles with Reactivity and has had some hurdles to overcome. He is such an affectionate, loving chappy and I look forward to helping him overcome this.

I sadly announce the loss of a True Gentleman. I have never known a dog like him. So calm, reserved and gentle and my heart is broken right now. RIP SOCKS MY DARLING BOY💔🌈🐕

On Saturday i got to meet this lovely boy. He is a wonderfully affectionate older boy and just needs to learn some house etticate/manners and to be a bit less human and a bit more dog. Also a little help on his lead work and clingy nature at home🤗. He did well, who says old dogs can,t learn new tricks.🤣👍🤗

So this evening I worked with this lovely girlie. She is a beautiful bouncy labrador who just needs a little help to be calm when meeting people, inside and outside of home and to learn a solid "Leave it/drop it" this is vital with puppies as they are into everything and this could be dangerous if they get hold of toxic items. So we practiced this with a favourite go to item "socks" then in kitchen to practice with leaving food items too. Along with some guidance on not being too nippy when playing . Her owners say she was being on best behaviour but she did really well. Now for them to rehearse the training.👍💞

So a couple weeks ago i had the pleasure of meeting these two lovely collie crosses. The issue in question, an onset of agression from younger female towards the older male. Sometimes this happens as behaviours alter. Body language signals can be misread by younger dog or not heard/seen by older dog etc and also differences in levels of activity between dogs. So we address outlets/exercise/enrichment, resources/safety and space management within the home and help create clear guidance while we get them used to sharing same space without confrontation.

Refreshing on focus and disengagement work yesterday, this dog is anxious and nervous but her focus was amazing as there was a small child who decided to play right by us within a few ft(she loves children ). We had children in park, people walking by, couple men walking dogs(men and dogs can make her uneasy) and a variety of traffic noises. We are just reinforcing existing training as she had been on heat and subsequently had become a little more anxious/unsettled during this period due to hormonal changes and so very important not to let her become more fearful in this stage. She did AMAZING WELL DONE DOG AND OWNER.👏👏👏❤️

Today, i met this little fella, his owners tell me he didnt have best start and also missed socialization due to lockdown. He is an absolutely adorable dog but a very anxious and hypervigilant little fella, not at all confident outside and voices this through Reactivity to other dogs and rushing through his walk. So we are starting off with some confidence work at home as easily startled by carrier bags rustling and such like so we need to give him some resillience to stress, some focus exercises to engage with owners more and some changes to lead handling to help him feel safe etc then we can start helping with his Reactivity. ❤️

So yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous 11mth old Romanian Rescue. She is a stunning girl who is a little shy/timid and wary as this is not her 1st home and it,s early days of settling in but she leaves any space when the man of the house enters including the garden. So we are working on some techniques for this (normalizing movements through repetition and praise , and some relationship games etc) and including owners having fun outside with a ball to encourage her curiosity and see he,s fun/safe. Whilst i was there she was craning her head over pillows from couch to see when she thought she wasnt being watched. An hr or so after i left, i got a message with this picture. They had lunch Al fresco and for first time she not only came outside whilst partner there but she went to him for titbits and she stayed out for a while and engaged in some ball rolling afterwards. WELL DONE to her and owners, we set the scene and she makes the move, pressure free, these dogs need patience, encouragement and understanding.❤️❤️
