The Crafty Gardener is a Community Interest Company providing meaningful day activities, education and employment related support through social enterprise. Horticultural and craft activities enable The Crafty Gardener to keep day services costs to a minimum. Costs for day services are currently based on people working in small groups and can be negotiated on an individual basis. Our retail activi
ties also give participants opportunities to develop employability skills and to access new events, people and places. We can also provide bespoke workshops and short courses in specific areas of horticulture, health and wellbeing, crafting and employability skills. People using The Crafty Gardener usually live in Wolverhampton, Shropshire or Staffordshire and are aged 18 upwards. The majority of our horticultural and craft activities take place at our venue, Glyn Bank in Whitmore Reans and on our allotment site at Boundary Way in Warstones, Wolverhampton. The allotment is part of a wider community cooperative and is easily reached using public transport. Our courses and workshops are delivered in venues across The Black Country and South Staffordshire. The Crafty Gardener is happy to look at other individual or group arrangements, please contact us via our email to discuss this: [email protected]
