Happy Tuesday! Today I am with Iris 🐾

Now that the weather is cooler, we ventured out of the house and shared our first walk together! She was nervous, but with some nurturing and gentle persuasion we managed to stretch our legs, then headed back home to rest 😊

Iris enjoyed her lick mat (as always)! And had a go at some puzzles 🦴🐾

Then just like that, she was a sleep 😌 This is a huge step for Iris! Most dogs tend to only sleep in front of people if they feel relaxed and safe. Slowly but surely she is making progress 🐶🐾

*Here’s a tip for your lick mat!*
- If you have run out of your usual paste, peanut butter or other.. take a small cup full of your dogs kibble and leave it to soak in warm water for 5 minutes to allow the kibble to soften. Mash with a fork or spoon, then spread over the lick mat! 😊

My second visit with Iris this week, lucky me!

We tried a new toy today, after a bit of demonstration, she understood exactly what she needed to do to get those treats!

Another hot day! Which means another day inside keeping cool with Iris!

Iris is a 6 month old rescue, she can be a little nervous around new people 🐶 so we’re taking things at her own pace!

Huge progress already, she’s taking treats from my hand and we even had a little stroke today 😁

Iris managed to find the confidence to leave her bed and have a go at some puzzles and a licky mat!

Hopefully the weather will cool down soon so we can enjoy a nice long walk 😄🐾
