Meet the Groomer 🖤

It’s probably about time I introduced myself to all my lovely supporters – from customers and their dogs to friends and family.

I’m Shona, and these are my two beautiful children. I recently decided to leave my previous salon and take the leap into setting up Cameron’s Canines. I believe grooming your dogs should be a relaxed and personal experience, and I aim to provide the best care and cut for your four-legged babies, right here in my own salon!

I’ve worked with dogs for the past eight years – four of those in grooming. I have three pooches of my own: two dachshunds and a French bulldog, who you may spot up the yard from time to time. I’ve always had a love and passion for animals, especially dogs, and to be in a position where I can turn that love into a business is truly a dream come true for me and my children.

As a single mum, setting up Cameron’s Canines gives me the freedom to bring these two little humans to work with me during school holidays and spend more quality time together as a family. Plus, they love meeting all the dogs just as much as I do!

We’re so looking forward to welcoming you and your pups – both new and existing clients – to our little salon in the heart of Finchampstead for many years to come.

We are a multi service company. providing Dog walking, Pop-ins, Cat sitting, pet taxi & Small pet care services. Covering the Berkshire areas Wokingham, Woosehill, Winnersh, Bracknell, Crowthorne and immediate surrounding.

I am Shona, the owner and creator of Barkshire Happy Hounds. Previously working for 2 Left Paws grooming salon, managing and running their day-care & dog walking services. I decided I wanted to set up my own business to expand my love, passion and experience for Dogs.

I simply work with animals because I love them! So I can assure you that the welfare and safety of you fur baby will always be my main priority. With a large background of experience with dogs, cats & other animals, I have many skills and abilities to cover the care and expectations they deserve.
