Had a nice change of scenery today and took part in the careers fair at my son’s secondary school Kings Academy in Bracknell. Out of 200 year ten students only one knew the answer to “what does a farrier do”. The kids were great they asked lots of questions and showed interest which is great considering the majority didn’t know what I did for a living.
Who knows maybe one of them may go forward to become a future farrier, hopefully they gained some good knowledge to what it is to become a farrier and what a great life it is to be able to work with such a beautiful animal. 🐴🐎🥿👠
