Please meet one of our nurses dogs- Ranger 🐕

This is the usual process for one of our operations. 💖

First we popped him in a kennel while we prepared the theatre room where he was then taken to be given the anaesthetic. The tubing was placed to ensure Ranger could breathe through the operation. The mass was removed and stitched up neatly 🪡👨🏻‍⚕️

He made a full recovery and still loves coming in to see the Denton Vets family 💌

Job decription:
Part time Qualified RVN required in Wokingham, Berkshire. This will be a new/additional position so we can potentially be flexible about hours if we find the right person.
We are a small (2 vet) proudly independent first opinion family practice with a long-standing client base (some have been coming since the 60s!). Our focus is on building strong client/patient relationships and providing care tailored to the individual. Our experienced and mutually supportive team share a common-sense approach and the atmosphere here is calm and friendly.
This is a hands-on position with some nurse clinics and the usual rotation of supporting veterinary consults, theatre time, in-patient care and some reception duties too.
We have all the usual bits and bobs (multiparameter monitor with capnography, HDO BP machine, digital x-ray, dental x-ray etc). We underwent a major extension/refurb in 2019/20 so everything is nice and shiny.
We're looking for someone kind, competent and dependable who will get on well with the small team. Hours: Part time (approx 25hrs per week) + 1:4 Saturday mornings (8:30-12pm). No OOH. Salary based around £28,000-32,250 FTE (based on 37.5hr week) dependent on experience.
