🎊 PoP Wedding Chaperone - May 2025 🎊

It’s official, May is the busiest month for PoP weddings - I love, love! 💒

Rosie and Rolo, my two lovely Cockerpoos I introduced a month or so back were perfect guests at their parents wedding last month.

The day started with a walk with them both and then a little chill time before getting them ready in their wedding attire. We travelled to the stunning wedding venue in Cirencester (Old Gore Barn) and then did a little walk together, with toilet breaks for the pups, before meeting the wedding party and getting ready for the ceremony, where they were ring bearers. 💍

Rosie and Rolo absolutely loved meeting all the guests and lapped up all the love and having some special photos taken as a family.

I stayed overnight with the pups at their home, they were absolutely shattered when we arrived back, so they had some snoozes before we popped out for a final walk before settling down for the night. 💤

Thank you to Rosie and Rolo’s parents for sharing their day and trusting me to give the best care to their pups. I also received a beautiful bunch of flowers and a card as a ‘thank you’. 🤍

Welcome to the PoP Pack, Ettie!

Ettie joins the PoP Pack as our very first pup with both her parents already being part of our group, Luna and Conic. Luna gave birth to a lovely litter of pups back in February whilst I was on maternity leave, and this gorgeous girl was the chosen one to stay with her human mum and her pup parents. 🐾

Ettie is a Springerpoo and is such a floof and delight to be around. She’s taking so much in from Luna and Conic and I can already tell she’s going to be a fantastic pup to have on walks when she’s older. I’m currently doing home visits for Ettie, she loves playing with her toys, doing treat hunts and is fantastic at going back in her crate when she’s ready for a snooze. 💤

I’m looking forward to seeing this gorgeous girl grow to be a fantastic member of the family and PoP Pack. 🧡

Welcome to the PoP Pack, Hettie!

This very diddy little lady joined Winnie’s family whilst I was on maternity leave and is doing brilliantly on our walks together. 🩷

Hettie is a Long Haired Miniature Dachshund, shes 6 years old and her Mum rescued her and welcomed her to her home with Winnie in October. Hettie is a very sweet girl, she’s building confidence on her walks and making brilliant friends with her even smaller friend Evie.

These girls are going to have the best adventures together. 🌸🐾🤍

Welcome to the PoP Pack, Rosie and Rolo!

These gorgeous floofs are Miniature Cockapoos, Rosie and Rolo. Rosie, is nearly 3 and a half years old and Rolo is still a pup, at 18 months.

I first met this gorgeous pair last Summer to chat through their parents wedding which I chaperoned for last weekend (separate post to follow soon). Ahead of the wedding, I had some catch up with the pups to make sure they were used to me and happy ahead of the big day. I’ve also been lucky to see Rosie and Rolo for some adhoc walks whilst their parents have some time away, enjoying their honeymoon. ☀️🏖️🥂

🎉 New Service Announcement! 🎉

Patter of Paws is excited to announce that cat feeds and visits will be available as a regular service over the school holidays, starting from July! 🐈

This service is perfect if you’re going away on holiday, or even just away from home for a night or two and would love PoP to check in and feed your feline friend(s). Duties could include:

- Feeds and water bowl fill up
- Clean up/ cat litter tray freshen up
- letting your cat(s) in/out overnight
- Company with cuddles and playtime
- Give medication if needed.

For this service, PoP will be covering the below areas in Witney:

- Deer Park
- Windrush Place
- Thorney Leys
- Burwell.

🎉 PoP is back open! 🎉

I’m excited to announce Patter of Paws is back to business, and I can’t wait to see so many of my PoP Pack over the coming weeks and months 🐶

My hours are slightly reduced from now until 3rd September. I’ll be working shorter days for now, and Tuesdays will be closed going forward.

Thank you so much to my clients that have supported me throughout my maternity leave and who I’m seeing again very soon, it means the world to see your pups again - thank you! A big ‘thank you’ also to Danni's Diddy Dogs, Pawsome Walks and Pooches and Pals Witney that have helped with my pups whilst I’ve been off.

Plus, keep an eye out on socials this weekend, PoP will be launching a ‘new service’ available for the school holidays. 🐈🐾

Oh, hey! 👋

I’m very excited to announce that 4 weeks today (Thursday 1st May), PoP is easing its way back onto dog walks and home visits - maternity leave has flown by so quickly! 🥹

For all those pups I’ve been able to offer usual slots for, or slightly adapted times, I’m so excited to welcome you all back and ‘thank you’ for taking me back on. To my adhoc pups, you’ve not been forgotten, I’ll still be available for walks and home visits on weekends PoP is open. Plus there will no doubt be some spaces available over the school holidays. 🐕‍🦺

In the meantime, enjoy the upcoming Easter holidays and I’ll be in touch soon. 🐣

🎉 PoP’s Wedding Chaperone Diary is Back Open for 2025-2026! 🎉

Bookings for 2025 have already started to be taken and the 2026 diary is now open too.

If you’d love your pup(s) to be part of your special day, whether it being just for some photos or being the ring bearer, please do get in touch. All quotes are bespoke and PoP covers the Oxfordshire and Cotswold area for this service.

Please note, at least 6 months notice is needed for non-clients of PoP. This is so I can ensure there’s enough home visit/walking sessions with you and your pup(s) ahead of your special day - this is so we can build the relationships early on.

🎉 Happy 4th Birthday PoP! 🎉

Although PoP is officially on maternity leave, another year of the business needs to still be celebrated. It was the busiest year for wedding chaperoning, with a total of 4 weddings and wedding bookings being in place for next year. Plus, a blog was launched with more content arriving soon! 💒

To my wonderful clients, ‘thank you’ for trusting PoP to give your pups awesome and safe walks and home visits. ‘Thank you’ also to clients and other businesses that have referred me to friends and family for any of PoP’s services. 🐾

A final and very big ‘thank you’ also needs to go to other dog walkers in the area that have taken on some of my PoP Pack temporarily whilst I’m on maternity leave… thank you Danni's Diddy Dogs, Pawsome Walks and Pooches and Pals Witney. 🐶

👣 Welcome to a very special PoP Pack member! 👣

We’re very happy to announce the safe arrival of our little boy…

‘Thank you’ so much to all PoP’s wonderful clients and fellow dog walkers for the support, gifts, cards, check ins, messages and help with our own pup, Spencer.

PoP is officially on maternity leave and will be back in contact with current clients from Spring 2025 (April/May). ‘Thank you’ to all those Witney dog walkers that have been able to help with so many of my pups whilst I’ve been on leave.

PoP’s still taking bookings for wedding chaperoning from May 2025, please do get in touch if you’d like details of this service. For those weddings that are booked or pencilled in for next year, I’ll be in touch from December. In the meantime, all messages and emails will be responded to sporadically.

🐾 PoP Pack Highlights 🐾

A super final couple of weeks done for September with my fabulous pack. We’ve had amazing adventures, sniffari’s, home visits with a whole load of cuddles too. 🐶🏡🐾

I’m taking a break from social media for a few weeks and looking forward to having some time to rest and pop my feet up for a bit.
