Looking for a cat sitter in the West End?
Glasgow West End Cat Sitter

DO YOU NEED A CAT SITTER THIS SUMMER?

Hi, I'm Karyn. I moved home to Glasgow last year, after living in the UAE for 17yrs, bringing my four rescue cats with me. In Dubai, I helped set up my local community cat group; to feed the strays in our area, treat them for any injuries or illnesses, and try to home as many of them as possible. There's not much I haven't experienced in the feline world!
Since coming back, I've been cat sitting around the West End and enjoy visiting all my regular kitty clients 😻. This has always been through word of mouth or agency referrals, but I've decided to set up my own page as I still have some capacity over the summer months. Please reach out if you need any help while you're away. Thanks, Karyn

🐾 Senior Cat Health Client Session – You're Invited! Please don’t forget to share! 🐾

We’re excited to announce our very first client session at Wishing Well Vets, happening on Saturday 5th July 2025, 1:00–2:00pm! This event will be hosted by Vet Marta and Receptionist Shannon, and it’s all about supporting the health and happiness of our senior feline friends. 🐱💙

We’ll cover key topics such as:
🔹 Kidney disease
🔹 Diet and nutrition for older cats
🔹 Joint and mobility concerns

✨ Whether you're a client or not, everyone is welcome to drop in anytime during the session. Feel free to come for as long as you like — no need to RSVP!

🎉 All attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a free vet consult with Marta, including a blood pressure check for your cat. If your cat isn’t keen on this test, we’ll discuss alternative options with the winner.

🧁 Light snacks will be available on the day.
🚫 Please note: this is a human-only event – no pets, please!

📍 Where: Wishing Well Vets
📅 When: Saturday 5th July 2025
⏰ Time: 1:00–2:00pm (drop-in anytime during this hour)

💬 As this is our first session, we’d love your feedback! If it goes well, we’ll be planning more Q&A-style events – and we want your input on what topics you’d like us to cover next.

Please share this post to help spread the word – everyone is welcome!
We can’t wait to see you there!

Please only use vet recommended flea and worm treatments 🙏🏼

ITV News is looking to speak to people whose pets have become seriously unwell after unknowingly using fake flea medication.

One pet owner used a product that when tested, actually contained Pirimiphos-methyl, an insecticide, and his cat had to undergo surgery.

If you are a UK pet owner who has experienced something similar and would be willing to talk to us, please email [email protected].
