‼️Important grooming policy update‼️
Due to the amount of shave downs recently that we have had in the salon, i have now had to put a policy in place in the hope that it will encourage people to have their dogs on regular schedules. So our new policy going forward is as follows:
MAXIMUM GAP BETWEEN GROOMS IS 2 MONTHS FOR THE FOLLOWING BREEDS:
These breeds include:
🔸Poodle mix
🔹Doodles
🔸Poo mix
🔹Shih Tzu
🔸Lhasa apso
🔹Bishons
🔸Westies
🔹Yorkies
Or any of the above mixes.
Dogs left too long become matted, stressed and often try to bite and scratch throughout the appointment. This puts them and us at risk and usually leaves no option but a full shave-down, which is something we hate doing and dogs hate experiencing.
1: This isn't the dog's fault.
2: It is avoidable with regular grooming at a salon and at home.
Any Dogs (that require clipping work) outside the maximum grooming gap (2 months) will be need to be assessed before a grooming appointment can be made and additional charges will apply
Regular grooming means calmer dogs, safer grooms, happier pets and a happier grooming experience.
Thanks to everyone who already has their dogs on a regular schedule ❤️
