Established in 1977 Valley Farm is a unique Equestrian Leisure Centre and Visitor Attraction in a beautiful part of Suffolk, offering holidays and regular group or private riding lessons for adults, teens, children and tots. Saturday & Sunday group riding lessons for children, off lead rein £46.00. (Opportunity to earn ABRS rosette awards)
Saturday & Sunday Pony Club 2 hour care session for children £25.00. (Opportunity to earn ABRS rosette awards)
Saturday 11am Tots group (2 - 6 years) £40.00.
Saturday 1pm & 2pm Young Equestrian riding group £46.00.
Saturday 2pm Pony Club Badge session £10.00.
Saturday 3pmVaulting group £25.00.
Sunday 10am Adult group lesson £46.00.
Saturday & Sunday private/shared private lessons, hacks or walkouts available.
Any suitable group lessons will show on your ECPRO booking account.
☕The Camargue Cafe is open for hot/cold drinks, breakfast, lunch, plus a selection of homemade goodies to eat in or take away.
🦙Visitor centre open for farm walks, animal visits or alpaca experiences (Pre booking required for experiences)
🐎Hack routes available for hire by riders with their own horses.

When a horse matches steps with you, it often means the horse is attuned, engaged, and paying close attention to your body language. This is most likely to happen when the horse trusts in your leadership.
During our groundwork group on Thursdays we use fun games and obstacles to improve two way communication so they can understand us better and so we can understand what their behaviour is telling us.

🍀Good luck to everyone who is heading back to school this week. We realise that this is a very exciting time for some, but for others school might not be the best place to support their learning.
🎖️Did you know that we provide an alternative education program to support learners through equine facilitated learning. Young people can begin at any time and can be entered for British Horse Society Qualifications, along with other awards and certificates.

Well done to everyone who took part in our carriage driving day. Indoor carriage driving is a competitive equestrian sport based on driving trials, where drivers guide horse-drawn carriages through precision tests, cone gates, and complex obstacle courses. It is judged on speed, precision and quality of paces. It's good fun and great for developing all round skills for horses and drivers. (It doesn't have to be indoors – as you can see we had great fun in the sun.

We offer lessons for adults and children from people who have never driven before through to those wishing to improve competition technique.

We also offer carriage driving for the disabled through East Suffolk RDA.

Lovely weather for our Bank Holiday ride out. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area surrounded by such pretty villages and lovely quiet backroads.

A big thank you to the dustcart and the other road users we met. Everyone was very considerate and courteous which made for a really enjoyable ride for both the horses and riders.

Pony campers pulling some fab moves this summer during our vaulting lessons. Many had never done vaulting before and some had never even ridden a horse before!
If you’d like to give vaulting a try you can join us for a group lesson on September 5th at 3pm.

Learning the parts of the pony also known as points of the pony helps children begin to understand anatomy.
Knowledge of how a pony’s body is put together helps us to fit tack better and ride better.
Knowing what all the parts are called makes it easier to talk about horses to other equestrian professionals and to understand what your riding coach may be telling you. Knowing what a horse should look like helps us to spot health issues more easily.
