It's a big day for Whitehaven with Pride by the Harbour side taking place on Saturday and we're joining in on the fun. Just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour you'll find our shops absolutely bursting this weekend with the following happening....

This lovely lady is Princess Elsa 😻 she was found in Millom with one kitten and taken in to foster…investigations indicated that she had probably been abandoned several months previously and had to fend for herself all through winter 💔

Understandably she was fairly traumatised at first but after a couple of months living the life of luxury and finishing raising her kitten (who has gone to his furever home) she is beginning to come into her own and out of her shell 🥰 Whilst still a little timid and not keen on being picked up, she loves to sleep with her foster mam and enjoys chin and head scritches and is starting to open up more to full length petting and rubs.

Her foster home has 3 resident cats, 1 of whom isn’t a great fan of her mam’s foster babies – Elsa doesn’t seem too bothered by the hostility and they both share the landing with a few feet of space between them 🥰  So whilst we think a home as a single cat would let Elsa blossom completely, we wouldn’t rule out homes with another friendly cat for company.

We think Elsa is around 2 years old, she has now been neutered and vaccinated and is up to date on flea and worm treatment.  Adoption fee is £100 which contributes towards the costs already accrued by the branch – she can be visited in Millom by arrangement with her foster mam.

Our stunning little Apollo! 😍 He's such a handsome chap! He's 3 years old, restarted his vaccinations, and is neutered. 

He's a bit of a timid guy at first, but he's gaining confidence daily. He's got a bit of separation anxiety, so we're looking for a home where someone will be around a lot of the time to start with. He just adores attention and snuggles 🤗

He can be a little dominant with other dogs, so he needs a home where he's the only good boy and doesn't have to compete for attention 🤗

We're looking for an active home for this boy, preferably with people who know the breed, as Patterdale's tend to be a law unto themselves! 🤭

Max and Reggie!

Ahhh, the terrible twins! 🤭 Gruesome twosome! 🤭 Nah, these energetic young lads just need the legs walked off them, literally! They need lots of physical and mental stimulation, as anyone with lurcher experience knows! 🤗

They're 2 years and 10 months old. They've been neutered, restarted their vaccinations, are up to date with parasite prevention, and are microchipped. Perfect, eh? 😍

They came to us as their owner had a change in circumstance and couldn't give them the time and exercise they need. They're siblings, but don't need to stay together.
