Like everyone, we've been hit hard by the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. We had to close our charity shop, cancel vital fundraising events and limit animal adoptions - our main sources of funding. Life isn't going to get back to normal any time soon, so we're getting with the times! We're going to hold prize draws, prize photo competitions with a small entry fee, showcase some of the items for sale i

n our "pre-loved clothing and accessories emporium & bric a brac boutique" that you can pay for online and collect in store, etc. Please feel free to send us any fundraising ideas you may have!

Our intrepid team of volunteers are at Dunmail Park all weekend raising much needed funds for branch. There's a mystery prize tombola and our Paws For Pride raffle (top prize £200) that you can have a bash at too, so pop along and say hi.
We're always on the lookout for more volunteers so if this is something you'd like to do or would like to help in our shops have a chat with our team, or pop into our shop on the Market Place in Whitehaven.

Pop along, meet the team, support our local animals! 🐈‍⬛🐕🐇

Did you know we have our own pet food bank? We supply food to families in need on a regular basis. In 2025 we supported our local animals with 2,253kg of wet and dry food.

Our amazing fundraising team managed to support members of the public with £9,467 towards veterinary treatments last year, which doubled from £4,501 in 2024!

Sometimes a little help is all it takes to keep tails wagging, whiskers twitching, and hearts together. Without you none of this would be possible! Thank you for your suppawt! 🐾❤️
