Another lovely (but painful) walk in Chopwell woods. Plenty of sniffs and recall practice on the way to the river. All behaved impeccably, even when the river was in sight, which is a big ask for the water babies. All came and checked on me when I popped my ankle 😂🙈...extra watertime given while I tried to recover 🙈....made it back to van slowly. All home and dry....with an icepack for me (this getting old malarkey is crap!)

A lads walk in the snow to start the week. Lots of sniffs and an million wees on the way to the river. Pedro did zoomies and scrubbed his face in the sand while the gingers swam for sticks in the river. Pedro heard/seen something in the trees as we left the river and after lots of staring he bolted to me with his ears back 😱...I couldn't see anything and the daft lads were too busy prancing about nicking each other's branches to notice whatever had spooked Pedro.
Harvey collected sticks to batter my legs with on the way back to the van, Billy went on like a werewolf and Pedro stayed close ( he obviously realised the distracted daft duo were as much use as chocolate fireguards and hoped I'd fend off whatever had spooked him😬🫣). Heating on full blast in the van and now all home, dry and warm

A freezing 🥶valentines day morning in the woods. Harvey was his usual happy self, Hugo did excited spins, Rocco and Sizzles played chase and Billy bounced about being full of himself. No swims or plodges because it was just too cold 🥶🥶

Another wrong turn taken in Chopwell woods saw us have a bit of a longer walk🙈😂. Lots of sniffs and an alpaca or two on the way to the river. Hugo was straight in, Arla-gator straight after him man, Billy liked his space to catch before Arla nicked the sticks off him and Pedro plodged. Zoomies were done ( and feral stick activity off my knees by Billy) which started a chase of Hugo by Arla then Pedro in fun police mode😂😂😂( he caught noone cos he's only got lil legs). Headed home the wrong way so muddy ditches were ran through to undo our river cleaning.....all home and shattered ( well I am anyway😂🫠)

Humpday done in style. We had the woods to ourselves ( saw 1 other dog) and enjoyed every second of it! Arla was full of adventure, exploring in the trees and there was NO poo rolling. Sizzles followed Billy like a shadow but he refused to play 😂. Arla and Sizzles played chase. Rocco played with the girls then got the zoomies with Pedro after he got his paws wet!! 🐾 proud of him for plodging today as he usually isn't a fan of the water and just watches the nuttiness from the riverbank. Pedro scrubbed his face in the sand 😂 then went crackers. Billy,Arla and Sizzles had a swim. Lots of hitting me with sticks and howling (Billy🙈)post swim and a muddy walk back to the van. Lovely walk....but I'm ready for hard ground now, either dry or frozen !

A wet Tuesday down the derwent. No swimming as the river was like flowing mud but plenty of sniffs and p*e-mails to respond to. A nice peaceful walk with hardly anyone about!

A muddy Monday for the lads down watergate and washingwell woods. Billy found a football that he had a bit play with but left it as couldn't carry it and catch up 😂( got the fear of being left behind). Pedro had a few zoomies and made himself 2 tone 😂.
Whiffs, sniffs and plodges and home before it lashed down! Result.

Funday Friday in Chopwell woods. We headed to the river for a swim, sniffing and answering p*e-mails as we went ( the dogs, not me). The pooches had a great time swimming and barging each other out the way and shaking right next to me💦💦.
Recall tested and fusses given for being good boys and girls! Only misdemeanor was Hugo trying to hump 2 dogs and Harvey trying to hump one straight after lover boy was moved 🙈....I'll let them off as they obviously didn't get the memo that it's not frisky Friday and have otherwise had a clean slate this week!

A frosty Thursday in Hedley Hall woods. Arla enjoyed a good old roll in the frost ( thankfully not 💩). Hugo did some crazy spins and Pedro was all over telling him off for having too much fun 😂 while Billy just mooched about answering p*e-mails

Happy humpday at Hedley Hall Woods for the pooches. Sniffs and snow drops. Plodges, mud and fun runs. Gun shots in the distance didn't register with Arla 🙌🙌, Rocco and Sizzles played crouchy pouncy. Pedro was full of sprints and Billy was fun police 😂

Another lovely walk in the woods this morning. No bangs to scare Arla and she was delighted about it...full of happy jumps on me for fusses and butt scratches. We took a different route to the river and the pooches loved the different smells. Harvey and Billy enjoyed all the muddy ditches 🙈 en route. All 3 had a swim and enjoyed the water but Harvey was like the Tom Daley/Michael Phelps of the dog world...diving in and swimming his little legs off! So much so the big fella was sprawled out half asleep when I got him home 😴. Great behaviour and recall again today...keep it up guys!

A beautiful morning to start the week....the sun was out, the birds were singing, the dogs were minging, the woods were almost empty and there was no woodland buffets or 💩rolling!! Harvey got happier the dirtier he got then peaked when they was allowed a river stop. Pedro did crazy zoomies in honour of everyone else's plodging as he wasn't getting his paws wet! He valiantly chased Sizzles off from trying to get Billy to play and ended up half asleep in the van on the way home. Sizzles was wired and full of herself....must have been the excitement of a last minute extra walk!! Billy was all happy faces and waggy tails. A brilliant walk to start the week....absolutely no naughtiness and 100% recall today. Treats all round at home time today!

A drizzly misty morning to end the week. Rocco and Sizzles played chase and Billy policed the fun 😂. Hugo did crazy spins and zoomies and Billy policed those too. All home and likely on the settee snoozing! Have a fab weekend guys

Humpday in the woods for the gang.
Pedro was super sniffer/p*e-er...I don't think he left a single p*email unanswered! Still managed to wear his fun police hat to get Arla and Sizzles told when he deemed they were having a bit too much fun 😂😂
Billy got himself into every bit of water he could find....obviously Harvey and then Sizzles joined him (Gingers United😂). Rocco wanted extra aunty Kelly cuddles (and a sneaky snack) before getting involved in a few chases then did super good behaviour and ignored the workers in bright jackets...good lad ( got extra fusses). Luckily Arla was on leash after a bang from workers put her on high alert cos she wasn't happy to see the hi-viz jackets through the trees bless her ( definitely a walk of 2 halves for her).
Sizzles earned most of the mud daddy contents after a stealthy 💩 roll...luckily bird poo so not lifting and she did look remorseful whilst being sprayed down! All home, dry and probably asleep now!

A nice jaunt around the lake and woods this morning. Everyone had a dip in the stream, Harvey collected as many sticks as he could carry and Arla kept trying to nick one and Billy kept out the way of the tug of stick wars!

Change of scenery for the boys today.
Harvey and Billy decided to cross the stream rather than use the bridge (the plonkers) and Pedro wasn't impressed...he was frantic on the bridge until the ginger nutters emerged on the other side. Lots of new whiffs and sniffs to p*e on too. It wasn't as long as I thought so we doubled back down to the gorgeous for a bit more splashing about once I managed to battle my way through a fallen tree at the far end of the bridge. Pedro flew down the steps I'd gotten dirty looks off him for walking up at start of walk and Harvey kept coming to check I was OK whilst trying to knock me down them 😂
A bit of water fun for the gingers and it sent Pedro off on the zoomies, chasing Harvey under the bridge steps and barking at Billy 😂😂. A nice walk to start the week.
