🧴☀️With the heatwave already upon us, here’s some top tips for keeping your pets cool and safe. 🐾

🛁A few other points to consider are allowing your pets into the cool rooms of the house, with tiles or wooden flooring. This could be the bathroom floor!

❌Try not to cover with damp towels as the towels heat up quickly and almost have the opposite effect!

🚘❄️If you are due to come in for elective surgeries this week, ensure your car is pre-cooled for travel to and from the clinic.

🪟Keep windows and curtains closed during the day, and windows open in the evenings once the sun has gone down. Prepare to keep your pet cool following surgery.

If you have any concerns at all, please contact the practice 🐶🐱🐰
