Sweet & gentle Ellie 💗, sassy and funny Ava 💜, nutty and loving Libby 💛, and baby Griffin 💙 - nephew to my beloved late Tessie and already proving to be as full of love, swagger and backchat as his aunt 😂

Hello Everyone,
I have reluctantly come to the decision to close Paws For Effect Grooming for the foreseeable future.

I am currently awaiting an operation, and as I have so far been given 2 dates which were both cancelled and I don't know when I will get a date again - I have only been told 'soon' - I have decided it's unfair to customers as I cannot be certain when I will need to change appointments around.

I want to thank everyone for their support and loyalty during this time and also during the whole of my grooming journey. I have loved getting to know each and every one of your dogs and this has not been an easy decision to make.

This week and nexts appointments will go ahead but I am unable to make any new bookings and any in August/ September will be cancelled.

If you have a particularly old/infirm dog who has been groomed by me for longer than a year now and you think would struggle with a change of groomer at this stage of their life please contact me - if you are able to be flexible with times we can try and and arrange something to minimise stress levels for dogs with extra needs.

This is not the end for Paws For Effect, I hope to come back better than ever as soon as I can.

I wish you all luck with your new groomers - if you need any recommendations or notes sent over do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi everyone,

As a lot of you know I have been on a waiting list to have a partial thyroidectomy - I have now been given a date of 25th June 🙌

This does mean that I will have to take a few weeks off to recover. At this point I'm not sure what date I will be returning to work.

For those of you booked in directly after this date I will be contacting you to see if you would like to bring your appointment forward. This does mean that if you are not pre-booked I may have trouble getting you in at this point, so please contact me ASAP so I can let you know if it will be possible, as we don't have very long now.

For those who fall into the spot of being booked a couple of weeks after this date and won't be able to wait until I'm back I understand it may be necessary to book elsewhere - I have tried to make this quicker for you by already asking other groomers about their availability and have a short list of local groomers who have space and are more than happy to pamper your pooches while I'm out of action.

This weekend is very busy for me so please bear with me while I adjust appointments, but I wanted to let you all know on here so you can start making arrangements as you need to.
