Hey, as many of you are already aware I am getting married in May!! 10 weeks to go infact!!
As I am a one man band business, I will be closing for a couple of weeks whilst we prepare the farm and I go on a my minimoon.

Therefore I urge my regulars to please please get booked in ASAP if your dog is going to be due in April or May as my slots are very limited already.

*** LOCKDOWN UPDATE ***

PIF & DEFRA Updated their guidance to us dog groomers last week. "Groomers may accept a dog to be groomed by appointment where this is neccessary for the animal's welfare and not simply for aesthetic reasons. Welfare reasons could include veterinary advice for a skin condition or excessive matting causing the pet discomfort. When routine grooming can be delayed without affecting the pet's welfare until the national lockdown is eased it should be put off"

This is fairly vague and I have read it plenty of times to try and come to a decision, therefore if you feel your dogs welfare is compromised by not being groomed please don't hesitate to contact me (07737 073330) so we can discuss and come to a decision together.
For everybody else I will be contacting you to rearrange your appointments.

Please if your maintenance groom has been postponed try to continue to do regular brushing at home, especially in the common problem areas such as the armpits, behind the ears and around the collar as I would love to not have a return of the lockdown shave off for many dogs. I can give advice on this over the phone if anybody wants to know which brush to use or what to do for their breed of dog.

It goes without saying that we are at a very crucial point within this pandemic and I wish everybody to stay safe. Hopefully it won't be too much longer till I can open properly again.

Recovering after a lovely quiet Christmas!!! Here’s the outtakes of my trying to get a nice pic by the Christmas tree and Maisie having other ideas!!

I just want to say thanks to every single customer new and of course all my regular old ones, you have given me so much support, this had been the hardest and most testing year in business so far!!! I truly wouldn’t be able to do it without you!
