I’m Back at Work Tomorrow!

I’m excited to let you all know that I’ll be back at work from Thursday, 7th August (tomorrow!). I’ve already started reaching out to customers and will be responding to messages as soon as I can.

Please note: appointments can only be held for 24 hours. If I don’t hear back within that time, the slot will be offered to the next client.

I’m really looking forward to easing back into work and seeing all of your gorgeous dogs again!

Post-Op Update

My wrist is feeling much better now that the infection has cleared up. Recovery is taking a little longer than I’d hoped, but I have a rough idea of when I’ll be back at work. I’ll see how things go this week and will update you all soon.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update, there's been a little bit of a setback as I’ve developed a minor infection in my wound. Thankfully, the doctors were on it right away and started me on antibiotics, so fingers crossed we’ve caught it in time to avoid anything more serious.

I’ll keep you all posted over the next week on how my wrist is healing.

Post-surgery update: I’m now four days into recovery, and the larger bandage has been removed (sharing a photo from earlier when it was still in place). Recovery has been a bit more challenging this time—likely because it involves my dominant hand—but I’m focusing on rest and gradual healing.

I truly appreciate all the kind messages and support over the past few days—it has meant a great deal.

Important Update – Surgery & Appointments

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I now have a confirmed date for my second carpal tunnel release surgery – 29th June.

All appointments after this date have now been cancelled, so if you haven’t heard from me yet, you will very soon. If anyone would like to move their appointment forward by a week or two, feel free to get in touch and I’ll do my best to fit you in – though please understand that availability is limited and I can’t guarantee anything.

I also highly recommend opting for a shorter cut at your next appointment. This will help keep your dog more comfortable during my recovery period and make it easier for me when I return. As it’s my dominant hand being operated on, I’ll need around 6 weeks off, and I won’t be able to do any heavy de-matting or de-knotting when I first return.

I truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and loyalty during this time – it means so much to me.

A Little Update & Lots of Gorgeous Dogs!

Things have been a bit quiet on here lately—as a one-woman show, I’ve had a lot going on personally. I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for your continued support, patience, and kindness.

I’ve been a bit rubbish at remembering to take photos lately—turns out when you’re surrounded by wagging tails and fluffy faces all day, it’s easy to forget!

Important Update for My Wonderful Clients

As many of you know, I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my left wrist at the end of January and took five weeks off to recover. Since returning, I’ve been working through my waitlist as quickly as possible and truly appreciate your patience and support.

However, I’ve recently been contacted to book in for surgery on my right wrist much sooner than expected. Typically, there’s a one-year wait between operations, but in my case, they are offering it earlier. I’ve declined an April date to allow more time to catch up with appointments, but I will have to accept the next available date to remain on the waitlist.

I sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. I know this is happening sooner than any of us expected, and I’ll do my best to accommodate as many of you as possible before needing to take time off again.

Thank you all for your continued patience, understanding, and support—it truly means the world to me. I’ll keep you updated as soon as I have more details.

The Update You’ve All Been Waiting For!

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be starting back to work on Thursday, 6th March!

As much as I can’t wait to see all of your lovely dogs again, I’m easing back in gently with just a couple of dogs a day while my hand continues to regain full strength.

I truly appreciate your patience as I work through the waitlist, and if you feel your dog can wait a couple more weeks, please let me know—it would really help me manage appointments.
