I’ve been a bit rubbish at remembering to take photos lately—turns out when you’re surrounded by wagging tails and fluffy faces all day, it’s easy to forget!

Important Update for My Wonderful Clients

As many of you know, I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my left wrist at the end of January and took five weeks off to recover. Since returning, I’ve been working through my waitlist as quickly as possible and truly appreciate your patience and support.

However, I’ve recently been contacted to book in for surgery on my right wrist much sooner than expected. Typically, there’s a one-year wait between operations, but in my case, they are offering it earlier. I’ve declined an April date to allow more time to catch up with appointments, but I will have to accept the next available date to remain on the waitlist.

I sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. I know this is happening sooner than any of us expected, and I’ll do my best to accommodate as many of you as possible before needing to take time off again.

Thank you all for your continued patience, understanding, and support—it truly means the world to me. I’ll keep you updated as soon as I have more details.

The Update You’ve All Been Waiting For!

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be starting back to work on Thursday, 6th March!

As much as I can’t wait to see all of your lovely dogs again, I’m easing back in gently with just a couple of dogs a day while my hand continues to regain full strength.

I truly appreciate your patience as I work through the waitlist, and if you feel your dog can wait a couple more weeks, please let me know—it would really help me manage appointments.

Post-Surgery Update

Good news! I’ve had my stitches removed after my carpal tunnel release surgery, and now the focus is on rebuilding strength in my hand and wrist. Recovery is going well, albeit slow, and I’m aiming to be back at work in about four weeks. I’ll keep you all updated on my progress—thank you for your patience and support!

I’ve realised I haven’t posted since before Christmas—I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and a happy New Year!

Just a quick update regarding my operation: unfortunately, it has now been rescheduled to 28th January. I’ve done my very best to fit in as many of you as possible before then, but I apologise to those who are having to wait a little longer. Please rest assured that everyone will be added to the waitlist, and I’ll be in touch as soon as I know when I can return to work.

🐾Important Update🐾

Some of you may already know, but I wanted to let everyone know that I have a hospital appointment on Tuesday, 14th January, for carpal tunnel release surgery. This is a necessary procedure to ensure I can continue grooming all your beautiful doggies for years to come!

Unfortunately, this means I’ll need to take around 6 weeks off for recovery, and I’ll be easing back into work gradually afterwards. As a result, all appointments booked after this date have been cancelled.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience, and I appreciate your understanding during this time. I’m putting together a waitlist for when I’m ready to return to work—if you’d like to be added to the list, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Ronnie has just graduated from his puppy groom to his first full haircut—and he did amazing! 🎉 It’s so important to introduce puppies to grooming as soon as they’re ready. Here’s why starting early makes all the difference:

1. Helps them get used to the grooming environment: New sights, sounds, and smells can be overwhelming for puppies. Early exposure helps them become comfortable, reducing anxiety later on.

2. Builds positive grooming habits: Starting early establishes a regular routine, so your pup learns that grooming is a normal part of life—less stress for everyone!

Before your grooming appointment, please be sure to thoroughly check your dog for fleas.

If fleas are found, your dog will be sent home and can only return once the issue has been fully resolved.

I understand this policy may seem strict, but it’s in place to keep my home and all other clients' pets safe and comfortable.
