Thank you everyone who attended the Armchair Pet Talking Dog Rally Trial at Fishbourne today. It was warm but we have had worse and everyone worked hard to keep their dogs cool. Lots of great rounds despite the heat although it was noticeable many dogs were looking a bit tired in their afternoon rounds.
Special thanks for the Judges, standing out in the heat for hours and to Claire and Howard for their usual efficiency as Secretary and Table Steward, and to Jacky Burden for organising venue and Judging too.
A mention for Julia Gill and Orla who left before the photos but scored 197 in Vet Pre2 . A big achievement for Orla who struggles in a Trial situation. One of the things I love about TDR rally is how supportive everyone is for people with dogs with problems and how lovely it is to see so many learn to cope in a challenging environment and achieve good results .
Oh and a mention for Rob and Nellie for a perfect Jump (at last)!

My Lurcher Keena was 12 this weekend and retired from competition with a final Ace and her Veteran L3 Championship. Keena started Rally 10 years ago and has had a brilliant career with many happy memories of her achievements and lots of fun along the way.
Lots of others did really well but I can't remember scores and my Phone was on the blink.

Our Tuesday Puppy, Progress and Intermediate classes at Springwood Community Centre are now closed for the rest of Summer.

(Thursday Advanced classes at St Albanes will continue for a few more weeks).

A new Puppy/ Junior course will start on 15th September. We are already over half full so do get in touch if you are interested.

Last night we ran a Test for two of our Intermediate class.
Congratulations to Kerri and Swift scoring 95% and Yarin and Loki scoring 81%.
I forgot to take photos but here is Swift and hopefully we will get one of Loki soon.
Looking forward to seeing everyone back in the cooler weather!

Tomorrow, ( Tuesday 23rd ) at 7pm we are running one more puppy party with emphasis on water games to stay cool.
Any friendly dog under 7 months welcome. Only £5 for half an hours fun.

Classes will be on tomorrow evening I'm afraid as we can't cancel without paying full price so I can't afford not to run them.
I know it will be hot but we will have some water games for the dogs and maybe even some on lead training outside on the grass.
