🐾 Important Update About Our Sweet Banana 🍌💛

We wanted to share a paws-itively important update about our beloved dog, Banana.

Over the past four weeks, she’s been unwell with ongoing sickness and regurgitation.

Earlier this week, she required emergency surgery to remove a blockage, and while she’s been recovering, her eating and drinking haven’t improved as we’d hoped.

To help her get the nutrients and medication she needs, Banana underwent a second surgery to have a feeding tube fitted. She now needs care and feeding every two hours — so our days (and nights!) are full of extra love and attention for her.

Unfortunately, Banana isn’t out of the woods yet.

She’s also been diagnosed with severe pancreatitis, and her insurance policy has reached its £12,000 limit until renewal in two weeks. We’re doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and stable until then, when she’ll hopefully be strong enough for specialist investigations.

We can’t thank you enough for your continued support, patience, and kindness as we navigate this challenging time. Our services may experience a few small “ruff” patches while we care for Banana, but we’ll do our best to keep tails wagging and services running smoothly.

Please keep our brave girl in your thoughts — she’s fighting hard, and we’re determined to see her through this. 💛🐶

🎃 Howl-O-Ween! 🎃

It was the final day of the countdown yesterday and that meant it was time for the Costume contest! We had some good entries this year; in 1st place this year was Chester, with Fred and Elsa coming in a close 2nd.

The afternoon was filled with Spooky enrichment, time to play and off course some halloween movies to watch whilst we relaxed. 🎃

Today was all about the arts and crafts and everyone was very excited for it! They had lots of fun painting their pictures before some zoomies and toy play. This afternoon they even got to try out some more Spooky Snuffle Boxes before a well deserved snooze. 🎃
