Back in full swing with our four legged passengers, and this lovely lady was a delight to have on board! 🌟

A taxi ride for a mini pony 🐴🫶🏼

We took a trip to earlier in the week with a beautiful miniature Shetland on board.

We transported her to the vet hospital for an operation and collected her the next day once the vets were satisfied she was fit to return home.

She was a lovely passenger and was definitely pleased to return home me to her friends ☀️✨

New pony day🐴✨

This lovely mare made the journey to her new owners near Hull.
She was the perfect passenger for the 3+ hour journey, coming off the lorry happy and relaxed settling straight into her new field like she’d been there for hours 🤎

Another week up and down the country complete 🗺️

Last week was a busy week at AFT Equine Transport with horses heading up and down the country for all various reasons.

We kicked the week off with 2 horses on board for a yard move and wrapped it up by transprting a familiar face to her new home 🐎
We also assisted our clients with vet visits, transporting to sales livery as-well as a mid week fun ride!

Window seat ✅

The lovely ‘Dior’ made the journey to her new home near the East coast, happily watching the world out the window 🐴

She is not a young horse; however, we decided to remove the partition due to her minimal travelling experience.
This allows a very laid-back approach to loading and travelling, as there is no partition to close and the horse is able to choose exactly how they want to travel.

We wish Dior the best of luck in her new home with her new family! 🌊✨

An early Sunday morning trip to for the pony showjumping, followed by an afternoon on the jet wash ensuring the horsebox is clean and disinfected ready for a busy Monday out and about 🚚🧼

Dear drivers (especially those not familiar with horses): Please don’t cut in front of a horse trailer just because there’s a big gap. We leave that space on purpose, it’s not that we’re driving slow, it’s because we need a long distance to stop safely.

Horses in the trailer need us to take curves slowly and brake gently so they can stay balanced. Sudden stops or sharp turns can injure them, or even flip the trailer, causing a serious accident.

In the photo, the mare has very little space to move, and her foal is right under her. She’s doing her best to stay still and protect her baby. I can only help her if I drive carefully. Please be patient and give us space. Most people don’t mean harm, they just don’t know.
