🐾 Leo here... and yes, I do Walk It to support my human! 🐾
My human behind Cill Dubh Hounds was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease 11 years ago and came frighteningly close to losing her life.
Before that, charities like Crohn’s & Colitis UK were something she never really thought about. Then suddenly she was navigating a lifelong condition, hospital stays, treatments, medications, surgeries, and all the challenges that come with living with an invisible illness.
Throughout that journey, Crohn’s & Colitis UK has been there to provide trusted information, support, advocacy, and funding for vital research into better treatments and, one day, a cure.
The NHS has been incredible, but charities like this help fill the gaps when people need answers, reassurance, and support beyond the hospital walls.
So this year, I'm proudly accompanying my human as she takes part in the Walk It fundraiser. 🐕💜
