There's nothing more heartwarming than seeing one of the dogs from Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary visit our field 🥰
The beautiful Ziah had a trip out to play and burn off some energy and she's on the lookout for her forever home!
The link to her bio can be found on the original post. If you are interested, please do have a read. This gorgeous girl has been in their care for a year and it's about time she found a wonderful home with a loving family.
We're so pleased to have been able to provide a safe space for Ziah to enjoy. Thank you for bringing her to our field. Our fingers and toes are crossed that her forever home is right around the corner! 🤞🏻🥰🐾

🌞 The sun is back, and whilst we may be loving it, we will always put the safety of our furry friends first!
Once again, sessions available to book have been restricted over the next few days.
We will be keeping a good eye on the weather and will add additional closures if/when we feel necessary.

Closures this week so far (subject to adjustment depending on how the weather forecasts change) -
Today (Mon 11th): 11am onwards
Tues 12th: 11am onwards
Wed 13th: 12pm - 5pm
Thurs 14th: 12pm - 3pm
Fri 15th: 12pm - 4pm

If you do have a session booked in around our closed hours, please take good care in the sunshine and make sure dogs are kept well hydrated and cool using our sensory garden troughs and Scrub-a-Dub-Tub 🛁💧

Happy 5th Birthday to the handsome Dexter who recently celebrated with an off-lead play at our field! 🥳🥳
We've found out from his owner that he's had a year of surviving IVDD surgery and being diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy but is still going strong and loving life!
We take our hat off to you, Dexter. A HUGE well done on all you have overcome and congratulations from us!! 👏🏻👏🏻❤️🐾

It's nice to see the temperatures have cooled off a little for our furry friends to enjoy a good off-lead run again! 🐾

Just a heads up, we've hit peak season on the farm and have been busy harvesting. Please be extra vigilant while driving to the field over the next few months. Give way to farm machinery and be patient if we are reversing large vehicles 🚜

Let's talk water! 💧

Currently, we have no main water supply over in the sensory garden area.
This is why we have added a blue trough bucket in addition to the normal trough, to try and make sure there is plenty of water available for dogs.
However, it is known that some people empty these out on their sessions.
Please, if you are someone who does this, bear in mind that we can not be on hand to magically appear and refill these troughs during the day. We are busy, and so is our dog field!
If you tip the water out, it will not be there for anyone else's dog after you.
Now, I know from when I've gone in there and expected to find water still in the sensory garden for our dogs, that it is incredibly frustrating to find them emptied out, so I can only imagine it is even more frustrating for customers, who have to take their dogs back to the shelter just to let them have a drink mid session.
PLEASE, be considerate to others and leave water in the troughs.
Many dogs and owners will appreciate it! 💧
