🐾 Meet Bebe Nellie! 🎀

This adorable 6-month-old Pomeranian came in for a check-up.
Bebe has had a bit of a challenging few weeks, with visits to referral centres due to regurgitation, and she also needs surgery for her knees. We’re taking things one step at a time to make sure she gets the care she needs. 🩺❤️

At just six months old, she’s already had quite the journey! Sending this little princess lots of love as we work towards getting her feeling her very best. 🐾✨

Autumn hazards to watch out for 🍂🐶 🍁🐾:

Acorns & Conkers: Fallen oak acorns and horse chestnuts are toxic to pets and can cause intestinal blockages or choking if swallowed.

Toxic Mushrooms: Wild mushrooms pop up quickly in damp fall weather. Some varieties cause severe poisoning, so keep pets away during trail walks.

Rotting Fruit & Leaves: Decomposing leaves and mouldy fallen fruit contain dangerous mycotoxins that cause muscle tremors and severe stomach upset.

Halloween Treats: Chocolate, raisins, and xilitol-sweetened goodies are toxic to dogs.

Shorter Days: It gets dark earlier, so gear up with reflective collars or clip-on lights so you're both visible on evening walks.

Meet Ariela! 🐾

Some of you might have already spotted her around the practice!

I am an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with over five years of experience working across both hospital settings and smaller veterinary practices. Throughout my career, I have developed a broad range of clinical experience while always placing compassion, kindness and the individual needs of each animal at the heart of my work.

My love for animals extends well beyond the consulting room. Over the years, I have personally rescued and rehabilitated several animals in need, helping to give them a new lease of life. Among them have been two Chihuahuas and a Poodle cross.

I am also an owner of a Cocker Spaniel, who brings an enormous amount of joy, love and character to my life.

Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy travelling, meditation, reading and studying. I am a keen learner with a particular interest in personal development, wellbeing and understanding the connection between the mind, body and soul. Alongside my veterinary career, I am also a certified hypnotherapist, which has further deepened my interest in compassion, communication and personal growth.

Above all, I aim to bring love, warmth, empathy and genuine care to both the animals I treat and the people who love them.
