Ozzie is our patient of the month! 🥇

Ozzie came to us to have his toe amputated and extra nail removed, to stop him from licking at the surgery site we had to give him this very stylish cone and we think he really makes it work! He did bruise his poor mum's legs a few times and frighten his brother Roo but his toe has healed beautifully and he's now cone free!

Well done Ozzie! 💗

We need help from our lovely clients! ❤

We urgently need towel and blanket donations, if they could be dropped off to the surgery clean and ready to use we would be super grateful! But we kindly ask please no bed sheets. Thank you for your help in advance.

Betsy is our patient of the month! 🐶

Betsy was in with us last month to have an op on her eyelid. What started off as a little growth started to gradually grow bigger and began causing irritation. Because of the size of the mass and the difficult location it required a complex procedure to remove it but everything went smoothly and Betsy has recovered well! ❤️

Well done! 🌟

It's officially grass seed season! ☀️

Look how many we pulled from one poor pup last week! Although they may look harmless they can pose a danger to dogs due to their sharp, barbed structure, which allows them to easily pe*****te skin and become embedded. They can end up in paws, ears and even up noses! Make sure to check your dogs coat especially after a walk in long grass to see if any are hiding away and dispose of them before they can become lodged in more difficult places!

If you suspect your dog may have a grass seed stuck somewhere that is causing discomfort it is best to contact your vet so they can examine the area and remove if necessary! 🐶

Monty is our patient of the month for May! 🏅

Monty came to us a few weeks ago with a lack of appetite, feeling lethargic and a big swollen belly. After an ultrasound and some blood tests Monty was unfortunately diagnosed with FIP. Feline infectious peritonitis is a viral disease and up until recent years was incurable and fatal. Thanks to developments in feline medicine there is now drugs that can be used to treat FIP that have a high success rate. Monty was started on this antiviral medication as soon as we had a diagnosis and he is now doing so much better!! His appetite is back, he's back to his happy self and the fluid in his belly is gone.

Everyone is so happy that he is on the road to recovery and he has been such a star! ⭐

Well done Monty ❤️
