You are likely your dog's favourite human if you are their primary caregiver, providing the majority of feeding, walking, training, and playtime. Dogs typically bond with the person who gives them the most positive attention and shares the most engaging experiences, creating a strong, lasting attachment.
Following you from room to room, acting as your "velcro dog".
Becoming overwhelmingly excited when you return home.
They'll frequently sit on you, leaning against you, or snuggling.
Steal your clothing or shoes because they smell like you.
Have a stronger, more responsive bond, often with better recall. Frequently stare at you with a soft, relaxed expression.

Little Nyx came to see us this morning and she enjoyed lots of cuddles.

As most of you are aware, The Chobham Vet works with a number of local rescue centres. This Christmas, we will be having a donations box so that rescue animals can enjoy some Christmas presents too!

If you would like to donate a gift, please consider toys, food, blankets, treats and anything else you think the animals may enjoy.

We will be starting the collection on Monday 25th November and will be sharing the gifts between the charities we work with. 🎄
