Bertie is just under 2 years old, rescued as as a young kitten, he has become the most docile, placid and content boy. He is always purring and loves a good fuss.

Bertie needs access to a safe, secure garden or enclosed outdoor space. He has had surgery for entropion on his upper and lower eyelids on both eyes, hence his unique (and oh so squishable) face.

Ideally Bertie would be adopted to live alongside another relaxed cat, a kitten or as an only cat.

We have a very special helper here at Corbiere Cat Cabin - Darcie is a
regular cat cuddler and visits the cabin to help us assess the cats' temperament with children.

Gorgeous Bear definitely enjoyed his fusses from Darcie and was so soft and gentle with her 😻😻 It's been so lovely to see Bear flourish and his cheeky side shine through more and more each day.

What a busy week it has been here at Corbiere Cat Cabin! 🐈

We've had meet and greets with potential adopters most days and are so happy to share that all kittens are now reserved

The timing has lined up nicely as we close from 28th August to 16th September so that we can do a deep clean and carry out some renovation/ maintenance works.

On 23rd of August we will be attending 2 events (as below) where we will be offering our fantabulous Tombolas in aid of Corbiere Cat Corbiere Cat Cabin.

Corbiere Cat Cabin is officially 1 year old today 🎉🎂🥂

🥳 The first person to correctly guess the number of cats Corbiere Cat Cabin has provided sanctuary to over the last year will win a box of sweets from Melly's Munchies 🐾 posted right to your door 🚪

Around 8pm on 7th August 2025, we were outside a not quite finished (but "ready enough") cat cabin; exhausted from late nights of DIY, trying to juggle litter trays, food and water bowls....as a pet taxi pulled up with our first 14 residents 😻

365 days later - we've made some improvements, we've learnt some valuable lessons, we've loved, we've lost, we've fundraised, we've laughed, we've cried, we've been heartbroken, we've celebrated and we have (hopefully) made a difference.

Importantly, we've been true to our origional goal: to encourage the formation of a community that supports multiple rescues as a team, striving forward as a united front (with you lovely lot by our side) and provide sanctuary to abused, abandoned and rescue cats in need, regardless of where they come from 🐈‍⬛️🐈

Thank you so, so much for all your support, the comments, likes, shares, DMs, donations and general cheerleading - corbiere cabin exists and runs because of you, our cat cabin crew 🙏😽💕🐾

After a couple of days with an empty room we are set to be full again tomorrow 😻😻

Tomorrow we will be welcoming Jasper whilst his fosterer has a few days away. Plus we currently have 7 kittens, 2 (new) pregnant girls, an absolutely gorgeous floof ball of a girl (who sadly we can't show you) and Bear.....who takes it all in his stride 🐾

If you would like to donate some wet kitten food (we recently had a donation of kitten biscuits - thank you 😘) it is always gratefully recieved. We use kitten food for the kittens, expectant girls, Queens and any kitties that need the extra nutrients. 🐾🐈‍⬛️ Bear is now ready for adoption 🐈‍⬛️🐾

This handsome boy is so gentle and very much enjoys his food 😹 He enjoys a good fuss and will reward you with his cute little snort purrs and dracula grin 🧛‍♂️

Bear is neutered and chipper. He would be ideal for a home with at least one female human (although he is also friendly with female cats), he will need a little bit of time to build trust with his new humans, and honestly, once that bond is there, his personality and snuggles are so rewarding.

Bear could be an indoor cat and whilst access to a secure garden / catio may be beneficial, he hasn't shown any interest in going outside whilst he's been at Corbiere Cat Cabin.
