It’s been a busy old time, so I’m going to switch off, recharge the batteries and enjoy some proper downtime ❤️

☀️🐶 HOT WEATHER WARNING – PLEASE READ 🐶☀️

Well… here we go again! 🥵 The hot weather is making another appearance this week, and Wednesday, Thursday & Friday are looking VERY hot.

Thursday is currently looking like a particularly uncomfortable one, with temperatures potentially reaching around 34°C in some areas! 🥵🔥

As much as I LOVE seeing all your gorgeous faces and getting your pooches looking beautiful, I simply cannot safely put dogs in the grooming van when the temperatures are this high. Their welfare has to come first, always. ❤️🐾

So this means there may be some changes, reshuffles and appointment moves over the next few days.

I know moving appointments can be a pain (especially when you've waited for your groom!), but I hope you understand that I would much rather rearrange than risk a dog becoming overheated or unwell. ❤️

🐾 If your appointment is affected, I will be in touch.
🐾 If I ask to move your appointment, please bear with me while I juggle the diary around.
🐾 And if the weather changes again, I'll be keeping a VERY close eye on it.

I know some people think, "It's only a bit of sunshine!" ☀️😂 but inside a grooming van temperatures can rise VERY quickly, and grooming itself is hard work for our dogs.

Happy, healthy dogs are ALWAYS more important than a haircut. ❤️🐶

Mobile Dog Grooming Van Water Pump Repairs & Replacements

Recently, I attended a mobile dog grooming van that had lost its water supply. The customer reported that the water pump was making an unusual noise and no water was being delivered from the onboard tank.

After carrying out a full diagnosis, I identified the water pump as the cause of the fault. Fortunately, I had a compatible replacement pump in stock and was able to fit it immediately, restoring the water system to full working order and getting the van back in service.
