BIG NEWS… Kevin and I are finally best friends! ❗️

It’s only taken nearly 4 years and a bit of chicken (satay, to be exact) — but, we got there!

Now, let’s talk about nervous pups for a second. Kevin shakes like a leaf through every single groom. He’s been coming in every 4 weeks for years, and it’s always been a bit of a struggle — until today. Something clicked (or maybe it was the chicken), and for the first time, he was relaxed and even wagging his tail.

I know I often recommend more regular appointments for nervous dogs, and it’s not about squeezing in extra bookings — it’s genuinely for them. The more often they come in, the more familiar it feels, and the less scary it becomes. Less tugging, less stress, more trust, and eventually… maybe even a friendship.

If your pup finds grooms stressful, don’t worry — we’ll work at their pace. Sometimes it just takes time, patience… and a bit of chicken 🐔🤭

Bertie skipped a stage at puppy university, as usually I prefer to do 2 puppy grooms before doing a “big boy groom” BUT.. his hair was just chaotic! 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️
