One of our liveries is looking for a new sharer !!

Sadly after two fantastic years, our wonderful sharers are off on their next adventure. We’re now looking for someone new to love and enjoy our gorgeous boy just as much as they have!

🐴 Meet Lucky 6 year old 14.1hh New Forest Gelding.
Lucky is a super fun, versatile pony with heaps of potential. He’s best suited to a confident and competent child or small adult rider who can be a rider, not a passenger. He’s still young and needs someone who’ll keep him thinking and working properly.

He’s done all sorts: Pony Club, camps, clinics, fun rides, showjumping, XC, and local competitions. He’s brilliant to take out and always puts a smile on your face (once he’s decided the trailer is acceptable that day… sometimes straight on, sometimes a quick discussion needed!). He even makes prom dreams come true! 💫

No vices, but he can be a typical cheeky and sometimes stubborn New Forest so he needs someone who’ll be fair but firm. That said, he’s lovely on the ground, enjoys a fuss, and is easy to bath, clip, shoe, etc.

We’ve had him since he was a yearling and he’s been carefully brought on by my daughter, now 16. He’s full of character, loves a job, and will give back loads to the right person.

Horsey parents essential!

Share Details:
• 1 to 3 days per week
• Financial contribution required
• Yard jobs expected on your days
• Potential to go out to events for the right sharer

From September I’m pleased to be able to offer some lunge lessons in our beautiful spacious lunge arena at APRIL FARM !!

Having produced a lot of young horses starting them from the very basics I really enjoy all the ground work that goes with that ! I’ve recently been helping some clients with some of the services I am able to offer and wanted to share the following with you all ☺️

🔸Do you need help or want to learn to long line?

🔸Want to make sure you are lunging correctly? With one line or would you like to learn the skill of lunging with 2?

🔸Not quite sure what’s the best equipment to be using for your horse?

🔸Have a youngster and want to make sure you start things off in the best possible way?

🔸Would you like to loose jump your horse in a safe environment?

🔸Have a horse coming back from an injury and need to start things off slowly and correctly?

🔸Lunging using raised poles?

🔸RIDER FOCUSED- Would you like to work on your balance ,core strength and position while on the lunge?

🔸Our lunge arena is also available to HIRE !

Our beautiful room in our barn is available for any Equine based activities !!

We are very excited to be able to offer the following at APRIL FARM !

🔶Are you a Coach looking for a super venue? Host a ridden clinic at April farm and offer some theory sessions with the use of our room/ kitchen and large projector with seating and tables for 30 people.

🔶Open for all pony clubs / riding clubs and any professionals looking to hold some equine based talks.

🔶Maybe you would like a get together with friends for an arena hire and enjoy a social cuppa or a lunch after riding in a laid back and relaxed setting?

From Thursday till Saturday morning we will have XC lines a distances all set up in the arena . There will still be plenty of Showjumps too but also some brushes / skinny’s and corners !!

Saturday morning

Great to have Berkshire and Oxfordshire Junior Academy here with Sharon Quant Showjumping coach yesterday for a day of team training ready for the nationals .. They made use of our beautiful room to do some theory sessions and enjoyed our arena for two ridden sessions too !!

All set and ready for the Nationals in early August !!

If you would like to use this space for any equine based activities please get in touch with Sharon for more information. The room includes a small kitchen and a very large wall projector which is great for all power points and slides 😊
