In light of the current flu outbreak, the following requirements apply to all events, shows, clinics and training at Fairoak Grange.

Please do not travel horses displaying any signs of being unwell or having a temperature.

Horses should all be vaccinated in accordance with British Dressage rules but a top up booster vaccination is recommended if their last vaccination was more than 6 months ago.

Please bring passports with you which will be checked for up to date flu vaccinations before you can unload.

Please do not stay at our venue any longer than is necessary.

Please keep your distance from other horses and be aware that there may be times when you are not permitted entry into the warm up arena if it is considered too busy.

Please avoid personal contact with other horses and do not enter our stable yard.

There is still time to enter our BD show next Saturday 30 May. We are running long arena Elementary and Medium classes for the first time - championship tests 5 and 6. We are also running PSG to GP tests.
The following show is our Unaffiliated/MCI GB show on Sunday 7 June and we are running the unaffiliated classes indoors which includes PYO and we can accommodate Intro to AM tests. the MCI classes are outdoors and run up to PSG level.

Wondering what to do on Bank Holiday Monday??
There is still time to enter our dressage clinic with international Grand Prix rider Alice Oppenheimer held at the wonderful facilities here at Fairoak Grange.
Not only has Alice trained many successful Grand Prix horses and won nearly 25 National titles, but she is also a List 2 BD judge, a very popular L3 BD coach and she is also very experienced in training ground work having worked with Claire Gallimore for many years in what we term TRT inspired training.
Enter via the Fairoak Grange website and times are typically emailed 3 days before.

Last chance to enter this Saturdays BD show. We have more shows this qualifying season on 30 May and 20 June as well as an unaffiliated dressage show and MCI qualifier on 7 June.
Times will be posted Thursday morning for this Saturday. Classes prelim to PSG.
Please be aware of increased cases in equine flu. Don’t travel your horse if unwell and practice safe distancing from other horses at the event. We will be spot checking passports also to ensure vaccinations are up to date.

Shout out to Fairoak livery and client Tabitha Paine and her pony Pebbles who won both days of the D squad test at the Inter county challenge competition for the SW at Bicton, Devon at the weekend. Tabitha (who is 10) helped the Berkshire team, seniors and youth, to become overall Supreme Champions - which I think was the first time Berkshire has won this event.
Tabitha is coached and supported by our own Melissa Dawes Dressage and Melissa also went with her to the Bicton and has worked with and helped many of the youth riders competing there. Lindsey Dawes has also been running BD youth squad training and senior test riding all winter as part of the preparation and eligibility for this event.
It's fair to say everyone was delighted with the win and had a fantastic time and we look forward to doing it all again next year. Everyone can have a go!

Upcoming Clinics

We are looking forward to our Peter Storr clinic on Wednesday and we have another date booked in of 22 July. Peter is an FEI 5* judge, currently Judges Director for BD and a fabulous trainer with so much experience including an historic Gold medal for the Pony team when he trained them 🇬🇧 . We are very privileged to have him come to Fairoak for clinics.

We also have our fabulous Alice Oppenheimer and Dannie Morgan clinics who between them have won nearly 50 National Titles💪- I’ve given up counting the Regional titles 😂

We are delighted to welcome back- briefly from the USA- the one and only Ryan Shannon for two dates only for his in hand piaffe clinics.
