Someone’s settling in nicely! 💤🤎

This boy is already showing us that he can’t wait to play with all his future friends and he’s settling in so well already.

There’s lots of different reasons why putting your pup into daycare is beneficial. Here’s some things Roo will learn:

Builds confidence – Positive experiences with different dogs, people, sounds and environments can help puppies grow into more confident adults.

Learn appropriate social skills – Being around other dogs gives puppies opportunities to learn how to communicate, play nicely and respect boundaries.

Mental stimulation – It’s not just physical exercise! New smells, experiences and interactions give their brains plenty to think about.

Learning to settle – A big part of a good daycare routine is learning that exciting environments don’t always mean it’s time to play. Roo is already practising the very important skill of switching off! 😴

Positive experiences early on – Carefully managed socialisation can help puppies learn that new experiences can be fun and safe.

You’ll be seeing a LOT of him around daycare and training. He’s still got a whole lot of work ahead of him, but I’m sure you’ll all enjoy watching him learn, grow and become part of the Oakridge team! 🦈

Beat the Heat🥵

With the hot weather continuing, please remember that walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day can be dangerous and increase the risk of heatstroke.

Instead, why not book our secure field for a relaxed stroll, sniff around, or gentle play during the cooler hours? 🐾🌳

We currently have early morning and late evening availability, giving your dog the chance to enjoy some exercise safely before temperatures rise or once they start to cool down.
