Floppy-eared dogs and active dogs (especially after swimming or playing outside) frequently trap dirt, moisture, and vegetation behind their ears 💧👂💦

The area behind and underneath the ears is a high-friction zone. Every time the dog moves, the collar, harness, or the dog's own scratching can cause the hair to knot and tangle leading to mats. 🌪️🐕

Matted and tangled dog ears require careful attention. Because ear skin is incredibly thin and sensitive, attempting to brush out severe mats can pull the skin, cause intense pain, or even tear the ear known as ear splitting.
