Meet this lovely Welsh Terrier 💛

This girl has been hand stripped by me previously, but as many groomers know, hand stripping isn’t always the right choice for every dog. While it can be the ideal coat maintenance method for some terriers, the most important factor is always the individual dog’s comfort and wellbeing.

Over time it became clear that hand stripping wasn’t something this lady enjoyed, so we’ve started introducing clipping as a more suitable alternative. Grooming should never be about sticking rigidly to tradition if it compromises a dog’s welfare.

Every dog is different, and the best grooming plan is one that takes into account their coat, lifestyle, age, temperament, and overall happiness.

A beautiful result doesn’t just come from the technique used—it comes from putting the dog first, every single time. 🐾✨

Luxury spaniel wash and deshed for an active countryside life in Ludlow 🐾🌿

This lovely dog visited my Clee Hill dog grooming salon for a deep cleansing bath using premium conditioning shampoos and brightening white shampoo to lift the mud and enhance natural colour and shine.

Then followed a full deshed to remove loose undercoat after plenty of woodland adventures, followed by a practical, natural tidy — keeping the dog comfortable, clean and ready for their next country walk!

Finished with healthy treats and plenty of fuss.
