We are a friendly, caring Veterinary practice in the heart of Lawley, who treat patients like our own! Our practice was established in 1990 and ever since has provided veterinary care for animals in Telford and surrounding areas. We are a Tier 2 level Small Animal Practice awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). We are proud to be awarded 'Silver' cat friendly clinic status by

the International Society of Feline Management - this ensures a visit to Lawley is stress free for our feline friends! Your pets will soon get to know our staff - we pride ourselves on being able to provide a personal service with continuity of care for your animals, we never fail to provide yummy treats and cuddles for your pets! Our opening hours are 8.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 5.00pm on Saturday. Our phone lines divert at 8:30am Monday - Saturday. Routine consultations are by appointment only but we will try and accommodate you outside these times if at all possible. Consulting times are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 12:00pm
2.00pm to 3.00pm
3.00pm to 6.30pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:30pm

She’s now home, recovering well, and getting all the cuddles she deserves 🐾

📚✏️School Visit Fun!

Last week, our wonderful lead vet Charlie headed out for a very special visit to a local school - and what a fantastic time it was! 🐶🐱

Charlie spent the morning chatting with the children about all things veterinary, from how we care for our pets to what happens during a trip to the vets. There were lots of great questions, plenty of curiosity, and even a few future vets in the making! 🩺

We absolutely love being part of our community and helping little ones learn how to look after their furry friends ❤️

A big thank you to the nursery for having us - we had so much fun! 🐾

Chewie came in to see us for a dental procedure and needed a few extractions 🦷❤️

He was such a brave boy throughout, and of course made sure to get plenty of cuddles with our head nurse Kate before heading home 🥰

We’re happy to say he’s now resting comfortably and on the road to recovery. Sending lots of love your way, Chewie! ❤️

Our amazing vet Enrique has just returned from an incredible volunteering trip to the beautiful island nation of São Tomé and Príncipe in Africa 🌍✈️

During his week away, Enrique and his team achieved so much - neutering around 180 street dogs and treating many more for a range of medical issues. An inspiring effort that will make a lasting difference to the local community and its animals ❤️

He’s come back full of inspiration (and plenty of stories!) and is already hoping to head out on a similar trip next year.

We’re so proud to have him as part of our team! ✨

With the current heatwave, we hope everyone is keeping safe! 🌞

We’re continuing to operate as normal, and the clinic is kept cool with air conditioning. That said, if getting here in the heat feels like too much, just give us a call and we can arrange another time for you.

A quick reminder to take extra care with your dogs in these temperatures — avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day.

If your dog becomes too warm, use cool (not cold) water to gradually bring their temperature down and keep them somewhere shaded and comfortable 💦

🚨 Heatstroke can happen quickly and is a serious emergency.
If you’re concerned, start cooling your pet straight away and contact your vet without delay.

Keep an eye out for these warning signs:
• Heavy or rapid panting
• Sticky or excessive drooling
• Bright red or pale gums
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Weakness or wobbling
• Collapse or unresponsiveness

💧 What to do:
Move your pet somewhere cool, gently pour cool (not ice-cold) water over them, and seek veterinary advice urgently.

Willow visited us for her interim health check with one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses, all included in her healthcare plan! ✨

She did brilliantly and enjoyed some yummy biscuits with her sister Bailey came along for moral support ❤️

A quick, positive check to keep Willow happy, healthy, and on track between vet visits!

She made the most of her recovery time with plenty of cuddles from our very own cavalier lover Annette at reception 🥰
