Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

Running a small business in the pet industry can look happy and colourful on the outside, cute dogs, pretty accessories, wagging tails and smiling photos. But behind the scenes, many makers, walkers, groomers, trainers and pet business owners can feel overwhelmed, isolated, exhausted or lonely.

The pet industry can sometimes feel competitive, cliquey or unkind, and social media doesn’t always show the hard days.

So this week, let’s remember:
🐾 Be kind to one another
🐾 Support instead of compare
🐾 Celebrate small businesses
🐾 Check in on your fellow pet people
🐾 Remember there’s a human behind every business

Dogs don’t care about follower numbers, perfect photos or who’s “doing better.” They love us for simply being us. Maybe we could all learn a little from them ❤️

If you’re struggling quietly, you’re not alone.
And if someone else seems okay online, remember, kindness still matters.

Let’s make the pet community a warmer place for everyone ❤️🐾

Wilma last night post shower, crashed out after her play date!

She was so stinky after playing in all the salt water puddles 😂😂😂 always a good idea to wash your furry companions after a trip to the beach anyway ❤️ 🐾

Great walk at Tentsmuir Beach this afternoon, bit windy but lovely and dry, until the dogs got wet!!

Wilma and Morag ran the legs off each other 😁and it was lovely seeing them both back together again! 🐾🐾 ❤️ ❤️

We have a strict NO ball rule indoors here!!

Seven dogs, confined space - not a wise idea.

Here is Haggis proudly showing me her ball 😂

She knows full well it's not allowed to be played with so she's just holding it in her mouth 😂

She's wondering how long she's going to get away with it and also annoying the rest that she has a ball indoors.. 😂😂

Haggis is our baby here and she's definitely the most mischievous ❤️

Haggis our youngest Dam completes some long lead training and stay/distraction work at the school run tonight 🐾 ❤️

Haggis is not quite a year old yet but as usual, she did brilliant, even with young ones running around and flying past her.

She was also sitting waiting for cuddles from the stream of children heading home and maybe a biscuit was involved too 😁
